Now to start...

I think a starter blog must be the hardest blog to write. For those of you who have one, I wonder if you had as much trouble trying to figure out how to introduce your blog as I am having. I want to write what my plan is. What my goals are for writing. I've realized, however, that when people read the first blog, they decide whether they will visit again by if they were challenged, entertained, informed, or encouraged enough to want to read again.

Goodness. I don't like pressure.

So what in the world am I doing here? I'm amazed at how often God shows you things on a daily basis and   how many times I forget what He shows me. See, I'm not the kind of person that can remember everything. I love telling stories and I'm great at remembering the details for those! However... when it comes to remembering where my keys are or where I put down my cell phone, I'm sometimes lost. The same goes for sermons sometimes, I've noticed. How many times have I gotten out of church and thought, "Wow! What a great message!" and left saying, "Ok... now what to make for lunch?"

I hope that you will laugh, cry, and remember with me as God teaches His Word to all of us.

SO, this is my goal.

1: On Mondays I'm going to rehash Pastor Patrick's message and hopefully put it in application form.

2: I love the idea from my sister-in-law and her sister on the Wordless Wednesday, so you'll be able to get a peek of my and my family's life.

3: I also want to provide an opportunity for parents of our students at OneLife to hear what they are being taught in our OneLife service on Wednesday nights as well.

4: And since this is my blog... I hope that you don't mind if I have a few stories to share with you every so often. I don't always get the opportunity to catch up with everyone like I would like to, so this will be my way of helping people I don't see, stay in touch with life at the Preston home.
